Description

EHEIM KARBON is a pre-treated and washed filter carbon that allows for rapid and highly efficient adsorption of harmful chemical substances such as medicines.
This carbon helps eliminate all traces of harmful substances such as pesticides, chlorine or heavy metals in freshwater aquarium water.
We recommend placing the EHEIM Aktiv net in the filter, above the layer of mechanical filtration media.

EHEIM KARBON 1 liter is recommended for EHEIM Aquaball and EHEIM Biopower filters.

The advantages of EHEIM KARBON - Filtration Carbon:
• Purifies and clarifies the water in your aquarium
• Removes all traces of chlorine present in the water
• Eliminates all traces of medication after treatment
• Can be used for 4 weeks.
• Can be used in fresh water and sea water.

Advice on EHEIM KARBON - Filtration Carbon :
EHEIM KARBON should only be used for a few weeks, as the absorbed harmful substances can be released after a certain time and reintroduced into the water.
Normally, filtration with EHEIM KARBON is only necessary during aquarium setup or after drug treatments.

It is recommended to use EHEIM AKTIV carbon when adding water or following treatment in the aquarium water.
