JBL Floaty Blade - Magnet with blade for aquariums

JBL Floaty Blade L is a magnet with a blade for cleaning your aquarium glass, the inner part of which floats.
The JBL Floaty Blade L magnet is designed for glass panes up to 15 mm thick. The XL model is suitable for aquarium glass panes up to 25 mm thick.

Easy to use:
Detach the floating inner element from the outer element and apply it to the water, on the edge of the aquarium. Hold the outer element against the aquarium glass to attract the floating part. Guide the magnet from the outside by making light circular movements on the aquarium glass.

Practical handling:
A protruding edge allows you to clean even hard-to-reach areas, e.g., behind aquarium equipment. Corner guidance is possible without any contact with the water. The blunt blade removes even the most stubborn deposits, such as limescale.

Aquarium protection:
Thanks to the patented JBL edge protection, the aquarium's silicone seals are protected by beveled edges. The floating inner element cannot fall into the gravel on the aquarium floor and scratch the glass with trapped gravel. Furthermore, there is no need to immerse your hands in the water if the magnet should come loose.

What should you definitely pay attention to when cleaning windows?
Glass aquarium panes are harder than steel, unlike synthetic panes (acrylic/plexiglass). Blade scrapers or metal pads, therefore, cannot scratch them. However, aquarium gravel and sand are harder and will cause scratches when they get between the cleaner and the glass. Therefore, be careful when getting close to the bottom with your glass cleaner.
Your aquarium's silicone seals are also at risk. Avoid damaging the silicone seals with window cleaning blades.
