SERA X-Edge 300 – Corner filter 300 l/h

The sera X-Edge 300 is exclusively intended for installation in the corner of a freshwater aquarium.
The X-Edge 300 is the largest model in the SERA X-Edge corner filter series.

The sera X-Edge 300, 450 and 700 are modern corner filters which, thanks to sophisticated technology, are particularly powerful and quiet, while integrating perfectly into the aquarium.
Mechanical filtration is provided by a cartridge and a filtration sponge , which effectively retain dirt particles.
They thus protect the biological filtration media from fouling, increasing the biological efficiency of the corner filter.
The filter basket is equipped with the highly efficient sera Siporax Mini Professional biological filter media – for reliable biological filtration.

The water flow of the sera X-Edge corner filter is infinitely adjustable and can also be directed in different directions using the supplied diffuser hose. Alternatively, the flat nozzle can be used to create a gentle stream. This nozzle also increases the oxygen supply: using the supplied Air-Set, air can be drawn in through the injector, mixed with the water, and transported to the aquarium.

Installing the corner filters is very simple: a support plate is attached to the window using four suction cups. The corner filter can then be hung on the support plate. For cleaning, the filter can be removed from the support plate in the same way. It is also possible to remove the filter cartridge underwater.

Our opinion on the SERA X-Edge 300:
This model is ideal for a 100 litre aquarium.
However, if your aquarium is overcrowded, we recommend choosing the X-Edge 450 model.
