The HI702-25 is the replacement reagent for the HI702 Checker ® HC Copper Photometer.

Colorimetry of reagent HI702-25:
These reagents follow the Bicinchoninate method in which the reaction between copper and the reagent causes a purple tint in the sample.
By simply adding the HI702-25 reagent sachet to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI702 will determine the concentration from the color produced. The results will be displayed in ppm of copper.
These reagents are designed for use with samples having an expected range of 0.00 to 5.00 ppm copper.

To optimize the longevity of the electrodes, there are 3 rules to follow :
• Rinsing: Rinse with tap water after each measurement.
• Storage: Store the electrode upright and always put a few drops of storage solution in the protective cap.
• Calibration: Use the intended calibration solution and adjust the measuring device according to its instructions.
