Aqua Nova's BioBalls biological filter media is designed for aquarium filters.
You can use them in an external filter or in a settling tank.
Bioballs reduce ammonia and ammonium ions and inhibit algae growth, perfectly clarifying water.
This filtration media also stabilizes the pH and fixes phenols and heavy metals.
Very simple to use, simply place these plastic balls directly in the filtration tank or slip them into a filtration bag (sold separately).
