Its manufacture makes it an extremely porous support with a large surface area for optimal colonization by filtering bacteria.
10 to 12 times greater than that of classic ceramic rings!
Very efficient thanks to a low apparent density and allows a good flow rate thanks to the spherical shape.
Its shape means there is a low risk of clogging.
Ideal for medium and large aquarium filters, very suitable for use in hang-on filters or small canister filters.
